Design of a luxury villa with a beautiful views on the courageous floating console, located on the steep slope high above the city.

The luxury villa is located in the sloping land at the foot of the Kremnica mountains in Banska Bystrica. The main idea of the house is based on the comfort operation of all building, which contains its technical facilities in the basement and the day and night zone on a separate level. With the exception of the arrival and departure from house, the residents are not forced to overcome grade levels. The same situation is valid with the residential garden outdoors. The height of the residential floor is design with respect to the modulation of the ground and trying to maximize the field of vision up to 8 m height above the basement level, forming the basic shape of the villa console as a floating residential floor . . .

The concept of single-level residential floor is located on a large property with a steep slope. Land rises uphill from its northern edge, connected to the service road. View to the city is turned in the direction of north, over the service road. Garden parcel is facing south. In comparison with the previous residential buildings of our studio, Villa SW is specific by its dimensions. Within the basement area are located a garage, technical rooms and storage areas. The basement is connected to the main residential floors by lift and staircase. Within the residential floor are located a day and night part of the house. Day part comprises a large living hall with kitchen and dining room, study, entrance hall and outdoor facilities with terrace and barbecue. Night part includes several bedrooms, each is designed as the apartment, the guest suite and a wellness section.
All of the described residential floors are grouped around the garden patio which is directly linked through a fully-glazed walls. Luxury view of the city of Banská Bystrica and the surrounding mountain ranges is in the northeast direction. This view is visible from the living-room, study and master bedroom. From the architectural and artistic perspective, Vila SVV is based on a combination of technical basement anchored in the ground, dominant hovering console of the residential floor, which is especially highlighted by its significant height offset a slight mutual rotation in the floor plan. Moreover, the composition of the building is supported by the vertical lift and wavy exterior staircase.
